Since opening our doors in 2004, our mission has remained the same: to serve authentic Japanese comfort food with care, hospitality, and heart.

As we look ahead to the years to come, we are taking thoughtful steps to elevate what we do. While the flavors and dishes you have come to love will remain familiar, we are gradually introducing more carefully sourced ingredients, organic staples where possible, and more house-made components throughout our menu.

We believe great food begins long before it reaches our kitchen. It starts with the farmers, fishermen, producers, and artisans whose dedication brings seasonal offerings from the sea, the land, and the mountains to our table. Our role is to honor their work and bring their passion to your table.

As part of this journey, we are also refining our recipes, operations, and service standards. At times, these efforts may result in longer wait times or moments when we fall short of the hospitality we strive to provide. We sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding as we continue to grow and improve.

This is not about changing who we are. It is about staying true to our values while building a stronger Gen for the years ahead.
